Mala beads, also known as Buddhist prayer beads, are a collection of beads used traditionally in Buddhist culture for mediation purposes. When using a Mala you start at the guru bead which is usually the largest bead at the bottom of the necklace. From there you work to your right, holding the following bead and sliding along to the next and so on as you concentrate on your breathing or your intention. Mala beads can be worn as a necklace or wrapped around your wrist as a bracelet.
This Healing Mala Diffuser Necklace is made with the traditional 108 beads. Instead of using the traditional seed or wood beads, I’ve used gemstone beads to combine the healing properties of gemstones with the Mala. Different gemstones have different energies and healing properties. Now combine all this wonderfulness with the use of essential oils!
